Valencia’s Copa del Rey fixture against Parla Escuela, which had been due to take place on Wednesday evening, was called off because of Storm Dana, which has wrecked havoc across the Valencian community. Not only that, Los Che’s match against Real Madrid on Saturday is also at risk of being postponed.
As it turns out, Valencia are not the only La Liga club whose midweek Copa del Rey tie has been postponed because of the weather. Osasuna had been due to take on Chiclana on Wednesday, but with not too long to go because the match had been due to kick off, it has been called off – as confirmed by Los Rojillos and the Spanish Football Federation.

Furthermore, Getafe have also had their Copa del Rey fixture against Manises CF postponed – a new date for that has yet to be set.

Osasuna will now make the trip again next week, with the new date for the tie set for next Tuesday – it does mean that Vicente Moreno’s side will have less rest ahead of their trip to Real Madrid on the 9th of November.
