Celta Vigo forward Jorgen Strand Larsen had to apologise to fans earlier in the season after admitting that his agents were working on a move, and hoped that he was attracting interest from the Premier League. However does look as if exactly that is happening currently.
The 24-year-old Norwegian target man played well for the struggling Galician side this season though, and Matteo Moretto has revealed that Aston Villa and Wolves have taken ‘concrete steps’ towards making a deal happen. He also notes that Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham United have also enquired about conditions for Strand Larsen, and while there is interest from Napoli and Bologna in Serie A, a move to England looks most likely due to money.

Since, Moretto has offered an update that Wolves are leading the race for Strand Larsen, and are hoping to close a deal shortly, with an official Wolves offer coming in imminently. Under contract until 2028, his release clause is €50m, but Celta will consider offers of €30m and over.
Strand Larsen scored 13 goals and gave three assists in 37 La Liga appearances, but also stood out for his hold up play. Blessed with a good touch and a giant physique, while he perhaps is not as clinical as he would like, he is a handful for most defenders. His hold up play is decent, but he tends to excel touching the ball off to his teammates and dragging defenders around with his movement down the channels.
