Spain are in complete control of their first Euro 2024 warm-up match, taking place in Badajoz against Andorra. They held a 1-0 lead from the first, with the goal scored by Ayoze Perez on his debut, and eight minutes into the second period, they have now doubled their advantage.
On this occasion, Ayoze turned provider to set up Real Sociedad’s Mikel Oyzarabal, who was one of four substitutes introduced at half time by La Roja head coach Luis de la Fuente. It was great work from Aleix Garcia and Pedri in midfield before the ball found its way to Ayoze, whose cutback was turned home by Oyarzabal from a couple of yards out.

Spain have not scored as many goals so far as people expected them to, although it has been a good exercise in their opening warm-up fixture. More goals could arrive in the final minutes, with multiple players hoping to impress de la Fuente ahead of the 26-man squad announcement.
