Barcelona are currently trying to facilitate several exits from their first team in order to clear space in their salary limit, with Ilkay Gundogan set to be the most high profile.
It emerged on Monday that Gundogan had given the green light to his camp in order to look for an exit after being pushed by the club to do so. He is one of four exits that Barcelona are currently working on, including Mikayil Faye, Vitor Roque and Clement Lenglet.
Gündogan wanted to stay. That was his idea. Now he has given in to his initial position in order to help Barça financially. His departure would allow the payroll to be reduced and Olmo and a few other new signings to be registered.@HelenaCondis

According to Matteo Moretto, two further players that could leave are right-back Hector Fort and Pablo Torre. His information is that both of their futures for this season will depend on what other business is done, and how the squad looks as the transfer window closes.
Reading between the lines, it seems likely that Fort’s case is related to Joao Cancelo, and whether he arrives from Manchester City or not again, as that would clearly have a major impact on his opportunities. It does seem that if there are no further departures, Torre will have limited opportunities in his preferred number 10 role.
Hahahaha they sacrificed their arguably best player last season in gundogan in order to be able to register players.
PAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHA how pathetic is this club?
