Sevilla have been struggling with financial problems for years, and this summer is not different. Los Nervionenses’ sporting department, headed up by Victor Orta, have needed to be proficient in their attempts to secure good deals – so far, four have been achieved: Chidera Ejuke, Peque Fernandez, Albert Sambi-Lokonga and Saul Niguez.
Three of these deals were low cost (Ejuke, Sambi-Lokonga and Saul), while Peque arrived for €4m. Sevilla have not had the funds to make any marquee signings, although that could be about to change.
Fenerbahce have confirmed that they have a deal in place to sign Youssef En-Nesyri – MD say that this is worth €22m, with €3m in add-ons also included. The Moroccan attacker has travelled to Istanbul for further contract talks and medical examinations.

The money received from Fenerbahce should allow Sevilla to make a few more signings in key areas. A replacement for En-Nesyri will be required, while there is also a need for at least one more midfielder, as well as a central defender.
