Barcelona are set to finally close their new sponsorship agreement with Nike, which will take them very close to returning to La Liga’s 1:1 rule. Once this happens, they will have it easier to sign new players, and one that they could target is AC Milan winger Rafael Leao.
Leao, who terrorised Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier this week, is said to be a dream transfer target for Barcelona president Joan Laporta, who prefers him over a renewed pursuit for Nico Williams.
The good news for Barcelona and Laporta is that Sport say Leao is very open to joining Barcelona, especially as his place at Milan looks rather unclear at the moment because of a dispute with head coach Paulo Fonseca.

According to the report, Milan are prepared to negotiate with any interested parties, which would include Barcelona. A deal can be done for €80-90m, and if these funds can be raised by next summer, it would be no surprise if a move was made by the La Liga leaders.
