Last week, Roma finalised the signing of Artem Dovbyk from Girona, in a deal worth in the region of €35m. The Ukrainian striker may not be the last player to join the club from La Liga, with a move for Sevilla’s Loic Bade now being looked into.
This has been reported by Di Marzio, who say that Sevilla are willing to sell the French defender. However, it won’t be cheaply, especially, as they are already short of centre-backs following the departure of Sergio Ramos, who has not yet been replaced.
€20m is the asking price that has been set for Bade, who’s impressed for France at the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris. At this stage, Sevilla and Roma are said to be far apart of their respective valuations of the 24-year-old, given that the Serie A side have reportedly been trying to include players in the arrangement – something that Los Nervionenses are not entertaining.
Sevilla are under no immediate pressure to cash in on Bade, despite their well-documented financial problems. They recently received €20m from the sale of Youssef En-Nesyri, money that is already being used to improve Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta’s squad.
