Atletico Madrid are expected to have a very busy summer transfer window, with several incomings planned. Robin Le Normand is all-but confirmed, while deals are also being lined up for David Hancko and a new midfielder. On top of these, there is a possibility of further departures.

Memphis Depay, Mario Hermoso and Gabriel Paulista have already departed, and they will be followed by Stefan Savic and Saul Niguez – two players that have no future at Atleti. On top of this, Rodrigo Riquelme could be someone that moves on, with strong interest coming from Roma.
As reported by Diario AS, the Serie A giants are preparing to make a move for Riquelme once they have wrapped up the signing of Federico Chiesa. An offer in excess of €20m is expected to arrive at Atleti’s offices soon.
Atletico Madrid value Riquelme very highly, so it won’t be easy for Roma to get their man. Furthermore, the player himself has shown no signs of wanting to leave the Civitas Metropolitano, so agreeing personal terms could also be an issue.
Don’t let this guy go, please. Anyone, but not this one.
