On Wednesday, Real Valladolid confirmed the permanent signing of Juanmi Latasa. The 23-year-old, who was on Real Madrid’s pre-season tour of the United States, will soon be joined by one of his former teammates at La Pucela.
As reported by Relevo, Valladolid are about to closing the loan signing of Mario Martin, who was a regular starter for Real Madrid during their time stateside earlier in the summer. The 20-year-old midfielder has already said his goodbyes in the Spanish capital, ahead of making the move to the La Liga newcomers.
Martin was one of the players that Real Madrid considered selling in their efforts to continue raising funds. However, the decision has been taken to send him on loan, although it remains to be seen whether there is an option/obligation to buy.
Valladolid will hope that the deal is concluded in the next 24 hours, which would allow Martin to be available for their La Liga opener – they host Espanyol on Monday evening.
