Memphis Depay has fired a parting shot at Atletico Madrid after confirming his free transfer exit from the club.
Widespread reports in recent weeks claimed the club were in talks with the Dutch forward to terminate his contract early, with it previously running until 2025.
Despite his woes in the Spanish capital over the last 18 months, he is expected to receive plenty of offers, as his career takes another turn.

ED have reported clubs in Spain, France and England are interested in signing the 30-year-old, while it has been claimed by Voetbal International that PSV Eindhoven would welcome a homecoming.
Memphis started his professional career at PSV, before moving on to Manchester United in 2015. A return could allow him to revitalise himself, given the last few years have been very difficult.
With the bond between him and Atletico Madrid now over, the player took to social media to drop a major hint over his annoyance at how the situation has ended.
