Alaves
Alaves have brought back Athletic Club forward Asier Villalibre on a permanent basis, after he spent a season on loan there two years back. The 26-year-old has signed a four-year deal in Vitoria-Gasteiz, and cost El Glorioso €1m.
Celta Vigo
Attacking midfielder Miguel Baeza has joined Portuguese side Nacional on loan.
Espanyol
Espanyol’s top scorer from their Segunda campaign Martin Braithwaite has shocked fans by exercising a clause in his contract that allows him to leave on a free. The 33-year-old scored 22 goals and gave two assists in 39 league games, and MD have already quoted reports in England saying that Braithwaite has been offered to Everton.
Getafe
Getafe have begun reinforcing their squad, giving Jose Bordalas some more pieces to work with after the exits of Enes Unal and Mason Greenwood. Real Sociead wide player Alex Sola, who spent last on loan at Alaves, has joined on a three-year deal in exchange for €1m.
They have also exercised their buy option on left-back Diego Rico, who was in fine form last season, and joins for a further €1.5m. The 31-year-old will pen a two-year deal, also from Real Sociedad.
Meanwhile forward Choco Lozano has gone to Mexico to play for Santos Laguna for €2m after a single season.
Rayo Vallecano
Rayo Vallecano have loaned in experienced midfielder Gerard Gumbau from Granada for next season.
Valencia
According to Relevo, Valencia have acted on their long-term interest in Alaves winger Luis Rioja. He has a year left on his deal, and Alaves are willing to let him leave for €1.2-1.3m. Los Che are negotiating a three-year deal with the 30-year-old. Earlier in the year he was linked to Real Betis.
Villarreal
Forward Betrand Traore has left Villarreal for Ajax, after joining on a free last season.
