Valencia could be busy between now and the closing of the summer transfer window on Friday. One of the key deals that could take place is a possible departure for Andre Almeida, who started each of Los Che’s opening two matches of the season.
Almeida is highly-regarded by Valencia, but his agent – Jorge Mendes – does not want the 24-year-old to continue at the Mestalla. As reported by Hector Gomez, he is determined to ensure an exit is found in the coming days.

Valencia would consider the sale of Almeida, who is attracting interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Benfica. However, they would demand a minimum fee of €15m, which would also have to include bonuses.
Valencia have been unable to spend big in recent years because of their financial woes, but the impending sale of Giorgi Mamardashvili (who will remain on loan) and this possible departure of Almeida could allow money to be spent before the deadline.
