Winger Patrick Ebert has joined newly-promoted Real Valladolid, reports the club’s official website.
The 25-year-old has been snapped up from Hertha Berlin and will sign a two-year contract with Los Blanquivioletas after arriving at the Nuevo Jose Zorrilla on a free transfer.
The Potsdam-born player has been with Hertha his entire professional career, making his debut in the 2007-08 season, and has since made a total of 121 appearances with eight goals.
Ebert has also figured 13 times for the German Under-21 team and was part of a squad including Manuel Neuer, Mesut Ozil and Sami Khedira that won the 2009 European Championships with a 4-0 victory over England in Malmo, the country’s only success to date at that level.
Valladolid will officially unveil Ebert after training on Saturday.
