Chelsea are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper this summer, and two of the options suggested are playing in Spain. After talks with Olympique Marseille appeared to have quietened down, Villarreal’s Filip Jorgensen is on the agenda for the Blues.
As per Relevo, Jorgensen is on their shortlist, and in recent days, Chelsea have contacted Villarreal to find out the conditions of a deal, and also discussed potential fees for the 22-year-old. Alternatively, Leicester City’s Mads Hermansen, who Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca had previously during their promotion campaign is another option on the table.
Real Madrid’s Andriy Lunin, who appears to be available for the right price, has been mentioned as an option too, but so far it is a remote one. Gabriel Slonina and Kepa Arrizabalaga are expected to leave, with the latter costing any suitors a potential €15m. Robert Sanchez could remain at the club.
