Barcelona are determined to organise the departures of as many players as possible before the summer transfer window closes next week. Ilkay Gundogan, Vitor Roque and Mikayil Faye will all leave imminently, while there has also been speculation about several youngsters also moving on.
Hector Fort is one that has been linked with a move away. Barcelona’s decision to pursue Marc Pubill would leave the 18-year-old down the pecking order, and the club’s idea would be to loan him out for this season. In the last hours, Sporting de Gijon have shown their interest in his services.

However, MD have reported that Fort has no intention of leaving Barcelona this summer. He is determined to fight for his place in the starting line-up, and he has the added advantage of being able to play right-back or left-back.
Equally, the report states that Pablo Torre will also reject a loan move. Clubs in La Liga and Segunda have shown interest in Torre, but he also wants to prove his worth to Barcelona manager Hansi Flick – he would provide depth in the attacking midfield position, although he does have Dani Olmo, Pedri and Fermin Lopez ahead of him.
