Barcelona are about to lose two significant departures. Ilkay Gundogan has agreed to terminate his contract with immediate effect, paving the way for a return to Manchester City, while Vitor Roque will also depart on a season-long loan to Real Betis. It’s almost certain that they won’t be the last players to leave Can Barca before the summer is out.

Ansu Fati is someone that Barcelona are keen to move on, with another loan being sought for the 21-year-old. The club has already received offers from Sevilla and Fenerbahce, but neither will be accepted until a replacement is signed, as per Sport.
Roque’s impending departure means that Barcelona are slightly short in the attacking department, so Fati won’t be allowed to depart until a new winger – expected to be Federico Chiesa – joins, thus replacing him in Hansi Flick’s squad.
It feels inevitable that Fati will depart, although his exit won’t happen if a replacement cannot be signed. A new loan could given him the opportunity to re-invent himself in the eyes of the Barcelona hierarchy.
