It’s been 13 months since renovations began on the Spotify Camp Noy stadium, and during that time, there has been several developments. In recent months, Barcelona had been granted permission to do construction work on Saturdays, but that privilege has now been taken away from them.

As reported by Relevo, a meeting between the Neighbourhood Associations, Barcelona City Council and Espai Barca officials took place on Tuesday, and during it, it was decided that Barcelona would no longer be allowed to undertake work on Saturday.
The reason for this is because they are alleged to have not adhered to the schedule set out to them. On one occasion, work went on until 10.30pm on the 3rd of July. It means that Barcelona are restricted to working on their stadium from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am to 8pm.
Despite this, Barcelona do not expect their return date to change. Club bosses hope to return to the Spotify Camp Nou in December, although there is a chance that they may not be able to go back home until January 2025.
I’m a die hard fan of Barcelona and I need 2024/25 Champion League to be ours.
