Barcelona have confirmed the exit of 20-year-old winger Angel Alarcon, who has moved to Porto on a free. The talented youngster showed flashes of his ability in the first team after being handed his debut by Xavi Hernandez two years ago.
Since, his career has been hampered by two long-term injuries, and over the last two seasons, he managed just 26 appearances, albeit scoring six times and assisting on three occasions for the Blaugrana. Included in those appearances are five cameo appearances for the senior side.
Dani Olmo: "I'm feeling great. I really wanted to start and what better start than winning in this way at Vallecas, which Barça hadn't won there for years, so good." @mundodeportivo

Barcelona will retain a 50% sell-on fee on Alarcon, where they will no doubt hope to make a profit on him. He will join Porto’s B team initially. Regarded highly by previous boss Xavi, he had plenty of competition for places under Hansi Flick. Even the likes of Ansu Fati looks like he will be short of opportunities in the first team, with Ferran Torres likely to be battling for minutes too.
