Barcelona are now focused on moving some of their squad on this summer, with a number of players looking set to leave, one of which is Mikayil Faye.
The 20-year-old Senegalese international was due to be promoted from Barca Atletic this summer, but with a large roster of players in his position, and little chance given to him during Barcelona’s preseason, the expectation is that they will try to cash in on him.
After talks with Porto did not end in a deal, Faye’s future has been quiet for some time. However Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Barcelona have received an offer of €10m plus a sell-on fee of 20-25%. He also notes that Barcelona would be keen to include a buyback clause were a deal to be done.

During the negotiations with Porto, it was reported that Barcelona would seek at least €15m for Faye. He arrived for just €2.2m last summer, meaning the Blaugrana could make a healthy profit on him. However some would argue that Barcelona should hold onto his potential and look to sell some of their other options at the back.
