Barcelona midfielder Pablo Torre has undergone surgery on his hand after injuring himself this week, but will not be out of preseason for long.
As confirmed by the club, he will be back in preseason training from next week, after recovering for a few days. The 21-year-old is looking to convince Hansi Flick he should be part of his squad next season, after a year out on loan at Girona.

Torre showed glimpses of his quality at Montilivi, but in a rampant Girona side, was given just six starts by Michel Sanchez. Playing 29 games in total, and contributing a goal and two assists, those appearances amounted to just 802 minutes in total.
His future remains unclear, with a loan move generally considered the most likely next step for Torre again, presumably to another La Liga club. Barcelona spent €5m on Torre two summers ago to bring him in from Racing Santander, but he is yet to look comfortable at the La Liga level.
