As per Diario AS, the presiding judge – Delia Rodrigo – in the case believes that there is evidence to suggest that a crime has been committed, and as such, Pique will be indicted as part of the investigation into the Federation. The iconic Barcelona defender is claimed to have received €4m per year as part of the agreement, which his company Kosmos was allegedly involved in closing.
Pique now has three days to file an appeal for amendment, while an overall appeal can be submitted within five days. For the time being, it remains to be seen how the former Barcelona player approaches the situation.
