Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto has not officially been given a farewell by Barcelona after 18 years at the club, but it looks like he will be moving on this summer.
Recent reports say that Roberto is no longer considering staying at Barcelona, and instead is prioritising a move to the Premier League. Aston Villa and West Ham have made enquiries, but little more so far, while Saudi Arabia have also been credited with interest. Now MD have confirmed that Ajax have made an offer for Roberto too, but the figures involved do not compare to what might be on offer in England. Hence it has not been rejected, by neither have the Dutch giants received a response.
Dani Olmo hopes to have his future resolved before August 9th, the day he has to show up for RB Leipzig training. @RogerTorello

Any suggestion that Roberto could head to Saudi Arabia seems unlikely. Roberto’s partner Coral Simanovich is from Israel, and given the tense relations between her home country and Saudi Arabia, it seems unlikely she would feel welcome. Roberto has expressed an interest in moving to Major League Soccer at the end of his career, but that does not seem to be on the cards either.
