Atletico Madrid are pushing hard to close two signings in the next few days. Robin Le Normand’s arrival is already taken for granted, but club officials are also hoping to ensure that Artem Dovbyk also joins Diego Simeone’s squad.
Dovbyk has been identified as Alvaro Morata’s replacement, following the Euro 2024 winner’s recent move to AC Milan. According to reports from Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano, Atleti have agreed a deal worth €40m with Girona, but as of yet, they have been unable to finalise personal terms with last season’s Pichichi Trophy winner.
💣🚨 BREAKING: There is no agreement on the final terms between Atlético Madrid and Artem Dovbyk.
Roma and West Ham are monitoring his situation. In the coming hours, his agent will hear the Italian club’s financial proposal.

Atleti could now be facing a race against time to secure Dovbyk’s signature, as West Ham United and AS Roma are waiting to pounce. Both clubs have asked to be appraised of the situation.
It’s imperative that Dovbyk’s signing is closed by Atletico Madrid as soon as possible. He would be a top signing, and his addition will do wonders to increase the goalscoring threat in Diego Simeone’s squad. Supporters are expected to face a nervous wait on this one.
