Real Madrid have had rotten luck with injuries this season, and that continued over the weekend as Eder Militao, Lucas Vazquez and Rodrygo Goes were struck down during the victory over Osasuna. However, there is some good news for Carlo Ancelotti amid this ongoing crisis at the Santiago Bernabeu.
As per Diario AS, it has been confirmed that Real Madrid will recover Thibaut Courtois after the international break. The Belgian goalkeeper has been missing for the last three matches because of a minor injury, but he will be back in contention when Los Blancos make the short trip to Leganes next weekend.
Courtois has been massively missed by Real Madrid during his absence, with Ancelotti’s side having conceded seven goals in those three matches (four vs Barcelona, three vs AC Milan). The defence in front of him may not be assured, but the world class 32-year-old ‘keeper will provide much-needed stability.
