Traditional chicken farming methods are relatively backward, failing to provide timely insights into chicken growth and optimal living conditions, often resulting in low profitability. Modern chicken coop environmental control systems enable scientific chicken farming. By constantly monitoring the coop environment, key parameters are tracked, and using existing hardware and monitoring equipment, an ideal environment for chicken growth is precisely created. This generates significant economic benefits for customers.
With the increasing demand for eggs, the poultry industry has seen rapid development across various regions. However, this rapid and large-scale expansion has led to challenges for farmers and owners, including increased management difficulties and costs. These issues can be addressed through the power of the Internet of Things (IoT).
Since its development and implementation, the poultry house environmental control system has demonstrated its capabilities. Through software and hardware integration, it controls and regulates temperature, humidity, and lighting within the poultry house, while also storing data on environmental fluctuations.
1. The intelligent poultry house environmental control system uses an all-in-one touchscreen as its main control unit. This high-tech integrated product combines touchscreen display and control, seamlessly integrating the unit with the environmental control system. Data is fed back to the main unit, displaying all switch functions and operating statuses clearly for simple operation. The system automatically starts or stops heating, ventilation, humidification, carbon dioxide removal, and alarm systems based on the data, ensuring optimal environmental conditions for poultry at all times.
2. The information environment acquisition system uses sensors to monitor real-time environmental information (carbon dioxide, ammonia, air temperature and humidity, water quality, and timely alarms) and poultry growth behaviors (feeding, drinking, excretion). It automatically monitors, transmits, and receives data, providing timely warnings of abnormal situations to minimize losses. The system offers three control modes: automatic, manual, and remote, preventing uneven temperature collection from affecting control accuracy and avoiding limitations based on time and location.
3. Temperature and humidity regulation within the poultry house ensures a suitable environment for poultry growth. All parameters, including alarm temperature, boiler temperature, and fan temperature, can be configured with one click, automatically adjusting to the baseline temperature for cooling and heating. Information collected by indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity sensors is compared with big data in the poultry house environmental control system database. When the indoor temperature exceeds the set temperature, the system automatically activates cooling equipment to lower the temperature, stopping automatically once the set temperature is reached. The equipment's operating speed is automatically adjustable during this process. Similarly, the system responds when indoor humidity exceeds the set level.
Thanks to the development of IoT technology, the poultry house environmental control system is becoming increasingly sophisticated and widely adopted across various industries. We hope that IoT-based smart farming systems will enable scientific management of poultry houses.
